On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, journalists, opinion leaders, and agri-food sector professionals gatheredinWarsawforaninformativeeventdedicatedtofreshEuropeanfruits,heldintheframework of theEuropeanfruitscampaign. The campaignis co-financed bythe EuropeanUnionandimplemented in Greece, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
The event took place at Mykonos Greek Restaurant & Bar and marked the first physical-presence activity of the campaign in Poland, creating a direct channel of communication with media representatives and professionals from the food market.
Duringtheevent,themainpillarsoftheEuropeanfruitscampaignwerepresented,withafocusonthe value of fresh European fruits, the high quality and safety standards that characterize them, and the importance of incorporating fruits and vegetables into daily diets as a key element of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Particular interest was generated by the practical tips shared by the event speakers. Klaudia Buczek, nutrition expert, presented simple and practical advice for maintaining a balanced diet. Dr. Spyridon Mamalis, Professor of Marketing and President of ELGO–DIMITRA, highlighted the importance of quality and safety in fresh fruit production. At the same time, Athanasios Paschoulas, Marketing ProjectManagerofASEPOPNaoussa,presentedtheprogrammebeneficiaryanditsroleinpromoting high-quality European fruits.
